Returns Policy

At The Dancing Shop we want our customers to enjoy a hassle free and enjoyable shopping experience. For this reason, we try and make the process of returning goods simple.

Cancelling an order

Under the Distance Selling Regulations you have the right to cancel your order for any item purchased on this website within 7 days of receiving our order confirmation email. If we have not yet despatched the goods, we will cancel your order and make an immediate repayment. You can cancel an order by emailing cancel@thedancingshop.co.uk or calling us on 0845 869 7117.

Returning an item

We do want all customers to be delighted with the products that they buy from us.If you are not completely satisfied with the purchase,return it to us within 30 days,unused in its original packaging for a full refund or exchange.When trying on shoes for size please ensure they are worn on a carpet or a non marking floor.We will not replace shoes or other items of dancewear that have danced in or have been used.Tights or dance belts will not be exchanged if they are removed from there original packaging.We do recommend you keep the original packaging and transport packaging until you are certain that you intend to keep the goods. 

If you are returning an item because of an error made on our part or because it is defective, we will be more than happy to refund the delivery charges incurred in sending the goods to you and your costs in returning it to us. Otherwise, you will be responsible for delivery charges in connection with your purchase.

To return an item, send the goods to the address below quoting your order number and reason for cancellation eg. defective items. For your protection, we recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service.

Back orders

We endeavour to deliver all orders placed with the company within 30 days of receiving the order.If the goods are not instock they will be placed on back order and despatched when they become available within the period stated.Should the delivery of goods not be possible within this period the company will contact the customer to offer a full refund if paid for.

Guarantees & Warranties

Whilst The Dancing Shop makes reasonable effort to ensure we sell only the highest quality goods, we do not offer any guarantee or warranty schemes other than those offered by the product manufacturers.

Terms & Conditions

This Agreement will be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales and both you and The Dancing Shop agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
